After Post Malone releases his highly-anticipated debut country album, F-1 Trillion, on August 16, the music superstar is going to take those hit songs of his on the road for a 21-date tour dubbed, “A Collection of Country Songs.” The tour kicks off on September 8 in Salt Lake City, and finishes up on October 19 in Nashville. During that run, Post Malone will be playing with a backing band called The Fools For You. “I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you,” Posty said in a statement.
Given Post Malone’s recent shift in style to country music, closing down his tour in Nashville is a nice nod to the roots of his current sound. Post Malone recently made his celebrated debut at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, performing an acoustic writers round set with fellow country superstars Lainey Wilson and Ashley Gorley. Tickets for Post Malone’s “A Collection of Country Songs” tour go onsale on July 1 at 10 a.m. local time. (Billboard)
