A major tribute concert celebrating John Farnham’s music is set for September 20, 2026, at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Organizers announced the event as a one-night celebration of the Australian singer’s career, with proceeds supporting Head and Neck Cancer Australia.
The lineup includes Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Hugh Jackman, Jimmy Barnes, Tina Arena, Richard Marx, Jessica Mauboy, and other artists connected to Farnham’s long musical legacy. Dion and Jackman are expected to appear via satellite, while Farnham’s longtime band will perform live with a 38-piece orchestra and choir.
Farnham, best known internationally for You’re the Voice, will not perform at the event. He has spoken openly about his recovery after mouth cancer treatment and surgeries, and has said returning to the stage as a singer is no longer possible.
The concert is being framed as both a musical tribute and a charity event, honoring Farnham’s influence while supporting awareness and care for people affected by head and neck cancers.
